Ele contém faixas gravadas durante a Maratona de Nashville, de 4 a 9 de junho de 1970, e em apresentações de agosto do mesmo ano em Las Vegas, servindo de promoção e acompanhamento do filme homônimo.

Mantendo-se dentro da promessa de trazer materiais inéditos remasterizados, a FTD cria sua própria versão do álbum clássico de 1970. Além de deixar o som do LP original extremamente cristalino, a gravadora fez questão de trazer takes que até bem pouco tempo eram considerados raridades ou existentes apenas em bootlegs. A esta altura, era óbvio que a FTD sabia que não restava muita coisa do That's the Way it is a ser lançada, mas mesmo assim os fãs esperavam alguma surpresa para o 50º aniversário do disco. Em termos de novas faixas remasterizadas ou alguma raridade incalculável, a gravadora decepcionou o público, pois não há nada aqui do disco original. Ao invés de trazer algo diretamente ligado ao disco original, a FTD decidiu por lançar todos os ensaios gravados entre julho e agosto de 1970 de maneira completa e oficial pela primeira vez em um único box. Não era o que se esperava - nem a qualidade do áudio ajudou a criar uma pequena adoração. Mas se há um grande mérito aqui é o fato de ele vir com dois livros, totalizando 600 páginas, com minúcias e curiosidades sobre os ensaios e os shows. No trabalho constam as faixas:
